About Me

I am Richard J. Harshman Professor of Accounting in the Department of Accounting & Taxation, Rockwell School of Business at Robert Morris University. I am also the Department Head that serves 350+ graduate and undergraduate students in accounting and 20+ full-time and part-time faculty members – having the opportunity to work with my outstanding faculty to achieve something great is genuinely fantastic! Before I joined RMU, I was a faculty member at the University of Michigan-Flint for nine years. My teaching and research interests are in accounting information systems and the behavioral implications of new technologies in accounting and education.
